The Kingmaker sword is the Kingmaker’s most important weapon when he or she is to influence the choice of the next king. A Kingmaker must be able to fence, as one must manifest a position of power at a knights’ tournament. If you win a knights’ tournament, you achieve prestige and respect, that can later be exchanged for influence when a new king is to be crowned.
